Nice mate, my brother in law would be VERY interested in that conversion. His grandfather left him his merc when he passed and it looks pretty similar to yours!

I don't do write offs, people freak out when it's time to sell, even though it's probably fine.

slight update although needs to be done in 3weeks. Next week build bars and exhaust, following week new metzelers and paint rims and final week little nick nacks. During this time i got shape the rear abit more no templates of nothing just by eye see how it comes out i'll do another one later on and paint some other bits and bobs and assemble.

For intake i'm running silicon bend into 2.5" pipe and 5" K&N air filters poking out. I haven't done it yet but hopefully it works out. Oh and getting the woolich kit with data logging and stuff so can have a play around.

Also what about exhaust spaced out or close together?

yeah i hope it comes out alright haha, abit hard finding the right curves.

I could've made something similar to the aftermarket fenders but I want a rear light and licence plate thus making it abit higher.

Using normal expander foam for the bulk of it. Shape it abit under then using 3M light weight filler it actually shape it. Then primer smooth, gel coat and make a fibreglass mould. Still haven't figured the mounting but it shouldn't be hard.

The bars will be similar to the thunderbike ones. PVC is pretty good we bend them at 10, 15, 20 degrees turn the bars and find the wrist angles and arm spread whilst turning.

Oh yeah the bike fell over on the jacks you get from supercheap. Warning always have it locked out mine wasn't so slowly fell done then crashed. Surprisingly wasn't heavy mum did most of the lifting haha. 2015-05-19 15.50.54.jpg 2015-05-19 18.59.34.jpg
