Does anyone know the easiest way to remove this panel that sits just behind the exhaust?
I want to paint the silver bit to match the black.
    Cheers

    Hey Graham,
There may e other ways, but here's one..
    Remove the seat
Remove the panel with the M109R badge on it, silver screw to the right of the panel you want to paint
Carefully pop the plastic lugs out of the rubber O-ring grommets - if you look down after taking the seat out you'll see one
pop the panel away and slide forward from the tank and remove - from memory, there's 3 of the plugs and gromments
then get a small allen key and slowly work the bolt out at the bottom of the panel you're referring to - takes a good 10 mins or so
    - you may be able to get at it depending on the exhaust ..
    Then it just pops off

Thanks mate, I got it off with only removing the seat.
Your correct, once the screw is released it pops out of its grommets.
I have just found out there is no need to paint it as it is a sticker that peels off.
