Hi all, below are the planned rides for the Sat and Sunday of the Meet. The Sat Ride has been split into 2 rides, one longer ride to keep all the Die Hards Happy and a Shorter Run for those of you that just want to go for a lovely cruise along some of the most scenic roads in this part of the Country. I don't care what your riding Level or Skill levels are, the Short Sat ride and the Sunday ride is perfect for everyone. You will not be holding anyone up because we are not in a hurry to get anywhere ..... we have all the time in the world.:)
Each Group will have a lead rider and a Tail end Rider, we will speak about how this works on the morning of the rides.

    Long Ride Saturday 26th

Leaving here and ride over Brown Mountain to the Federal Hotel in Nimmitabel where we will have lunch and meet up with the Short Ride Group. After Lunch on to Bombala for Fuel then along the Mt Darragh Road back to Merimbula. Distance between fuel stops is 185kms. ( let me know if this is a problem)

    Excellent choices JR.

But I notice that you are missing a nice little diversion thru Candelo via Myrtle Mt Road, which comes off Mt Darragh rd. You use Darragh Mt Rd for each ride so a 12min diversion on a nice bit of recently sealed road (last 5 years) is worth while. Great photo opportunity at the Myrtle Mountain lookout particularly on ur last day. Just a thought for consideration.

I'm hoping to get down to Merrimbula for a catch up but there is a bit happening at the moment. Either way have a great time, except for the Hwy the roads down there should be relatively quiet this weekend.
    Shiny side up!

Great rides! Looking forward to them. My pegs will be worn off and no heels on the boots after this set of rides.

No issue. Can get about 4-5000kms per boot. I was once told that you'rr not cornering unless you have at least a boot on the ground. :D
