Hi all, I've got a 2012 m109r with about 10k on the clock and a bit of a ticking noise that I can't seem to figure out. It sounds like a loud tappet but lower down. Listening around with the help of a screwdriver it's most noticeable on the left side behind the rear cylinder. I didn't take the secondary gear case cover off, just touched the screwdriver on the crankcase just above it, below whatever that black box is (is it a breather?) Noise changes with engine revs and it's more noticeable when the engine is hot and it seems loudest at around 2500-3000rpm when riding. Engine load and clutch engagement don't seem to change anything, can still hear it in neutral at idle. Any ideas? Will.
