Windscreen question...???Just got mu C50VL800C last week, tried riding with and without the wind screen... Never had one before, dont know if I want one now...??? Tried it in the down posie first...??? in two minds, then next day tried it in the up possie ( dont go up enough for my liking) pain in the arse possie, do ya look through it, over it, the top of the thing is in my line of sight with a slouched back, sit up straight and ya look over it, or chuck it in the bin...???

What say the clan...??? I'm an old fart remember, had my two sons ,did all the stupid shit back in the 70's, so looks and speed mean SFA to me, might even get some of those hand shields ... ;-)

Want and windscreen, get a car... J/K!

It should protect the body from buffetting and send the wind over the top of the helmet.
In my opinion unless you're going to be doing a lot of longer highway/open road riding and can get it to where your comfortable with it sitting and protecting, ditch it.

If it buffets your helmet and makes you dizzy take it off... You only get dizzy after leaving the pub after a long lunch during a ride...

When you stand back and look at your bike with it on does it give you a stir in your old balls...
If it doesn't take it off...
Fuck being practical if you wanted to be practical you should have bought an adventure bike.....
    Simples....

What ever works best for you vik, shouldn't matter what we think. The only advice I have is if you dont/never use something don't throw it away if it can be stored somewhere. You never know if that day will come when you get the chance to offer it to another member. We love to pay it forward round here.

Love mine in the cold, not so much in the heat as it reduces aif flow.
I look over the top of mine but the air stream goes over my helmet so no buffeting

Well on that note"one hung low"

Made me hang my windscreen low, as can go ... and I love it now, look over the top, cold morning yesti, no problemo...

And I can always remove it in the heat of summer ... and BTW,I bought the bike for pleasure, not for looks and to give a fcuk what others think, the guy I rode with yesti whinged he had nowhere to put stuff, now he is fitting panniers ...

And I wear a bright green vest ...!!! over a black leather jacket...!!!

Might have to get a pair of spotties for the front next ;-)
